As you may have gathered from my site, aside from modelling, I also have my own small business, namely Ayame Designs, so let me properly introduce you…
I started making jewellery back in 2009 already but used to make things for family members as gifts. I stopped making jewellery for a while in high school and then when I got into the Gothic lifestyle, I got so frustrated that it was so expensive to order Gothic jewellery online because of the poor economic state of my country. This is when I decided to try to put my skills to the test to create my own pieces for myself. Of course, many others in the South African Gothic community wanted to know where I got my jewellery, and so Ayame Designs was officially born! I became so passionate about my craft that I now partially rely on my business for my monthly income and would do it full time if I could. I often have stalls at local markets and events but also have an Etsy store. I just forget to take photos of many of the items I create but want to eventually get everything up to date!

I have recently started focussing on trying to expand my brand into international markets and my absolute favourite model, Obsidian Kerttu, is my sponsored model!

Many of the pieces I make are completely one-of-a-kind and will never be made again, or will only be made in a few colour variations. I am always happy to create custom pieces for anyone who is interested!
I’m so happy with what I have achieved with my business so far and have big plans for the future! Here are some of my most popular and favourite pieces that are available for purchase:
